Anyone who has tried to paint in watercolour will know it isn’t the easiest of media to master.
Cate Parr, a UK-born fashion illustrator, has managed to capture mesmerising dream-like qualities in her fashion imagery. On closer inspection the images contain a darkness beneath their surface, and the colours bleed giving psychedelic subtlety.
THE NEW STUTTGART CITY LIBRARY
Korean architect Eun Young Yi has created an 11 floor monolithic cube. Essentially all of the building, both inside and out is white. The main library floors circle an open-plan area, with the levels connected by open staircases. Books line the outer walls of each floor. Beautiful.
